Welcome!

Welcome to Zihao Yang's homepage.

I am currently a 2nd-year Ph.D. student of School of Earth and Space Sciences (SESS) in Peking University (PKU) in China, working with Prof. Hui Tian now. I am also a Newkirk fellow of High Altitude Observatory (HAO) of National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in USA, working with Dr. Steven Tomczyk.

I major in space physics, with an emphasis on solar physics.

My interests focus on the spectroscopic analysis of the Sun and other stars. My PhD research will focus on diagnosing coronal magnetic field using spectral analysis. Spectrum is a significant tool in astronomy which can provides us a lot information on the physical properties of an astronomical object. I am interested in using spectroscopic methods to do diagnostics on the physical processes in the atmosphere of the Sun.

My name is written as 杨子浩 in Chinese.
